Jean Paul Nteziryayo who makes paint starting this project in 2010 with Rwf3800 and 3 years down the road, he has made it to his dream. “I started dreaming about making paints in 2007 but lack of capital limited me, I kept on learning and researching about it and finally in 2010 I took action with nothing else but Rwf3800 and my self confidence.”

“I took the first step into being a private entrepreneur because I was tired of being an underpaid employee; I made study trips to factories that make paints and learnt from them and did better than them. And I now monopolize the paint market in Gatsibo district because of the best paint I make.”

Nteziryayo who started his business with only Rwf3800 has increased his capital only in 3 years to Rwf12 million. He owns a car, a motorcycle and a house without saying a factory and the equipment used in his work.

Though the hard work and self confidence he put in his work count, the support from the district officials paved the way for Nteziryayo. He got chances to participate in trainings and contracts from Gatsibo district.
