Jean chrisostome Nteziryayo is the name of the man in Base sector in Rulindo district that has walked down the development road with many residents making their dreams come true, employing some and helping eradicate poverty.
Jean chrisostome Nteziryayo started this journey by starting a small scale workshop that makes different machines like maize drilling machines and many others. He started doing manual work on his own, slowly he employed some people and now he has 15 employees and their families under his care.
Nteziryayo has started a workshop to teach youth on some of his skills especially making different machines. He is teaching about 10 youth about mechanics and some have already graduated.
He says; “I am so grateful for my accomplishments, changing the lives of the youth, giving them dreams and seeing them make a living out of the skills I taught them, it is more than I thought I could achieve.”
Jean Bosco Hitayezu one of the youth that learnt from this workshop says, “I have learnt a lot from him and I have achieved a lot myself. I bought cow for my mother that has already reproduced and gives her milk. I am constructing a house and I am going to marry soon.”
Jean chrisostome Nteziryayo started this workshop ten years ago and since then; a lot of youth have passed through his hands, he has taught skills to many, employed others and especially developed himself.
