The schools though they understand the essence of Education for All, they note the limitations of this program to lack of equipment for deaf pupils.

Education For All Program has been fully participated in Kamonyi district where about 450 children with disabilities are in usual schools attending the same lessons with normal children. This program started with in the 8 exemplary schools but now all the schools in the district have incorporated the program.
Gihara Secondary School in Runda sector is one of the schools that started with Education For All Program; the school has more than 130 students with different kind of disabilities. According to Sylvain Mudahinyuka the school head teacher says their main limitation is lack of special tools for some of the disabled students.
“The special equipment for blind students is very expensive and teachers experienced are few, we also lack the clear ways for the students with disabilities” says Sylvain Mudahinyuka about their limitations.
This however does not stop teachers to do their best to communicate and teach these Special Needs students. In the recent training to the teachers, they were shown how to use available things to communicate like using beans, sorghum or other things to make words as Clementine Kayitare explains.

The Education for All Program has helped Special Needs Education students to interact with other normal students, improving their attention and courage to perform well.
