The RSE share index (RSI) went down 0.26 points to close at 221.97 and mainly caused by the falling BoK share price which closed at Rwf 184. The total turnover for the day was Rwf 10,854,500 from 42,100 BoK shares and 3,800 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 55,124,000 from 305,700 BoK shares and 100 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals.
BoK shares traded between Rwf 181-184 and closed at Rwf 184, translating into a decline of Rwf 1 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 850-860 and closed at Rwf 860, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price.
KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 415,500 BoK shares between Rwf 185-200 and outstanding bids of 25,000 shares at Rwf 181. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 96,300 shares between Rwf 860-890 and outstanding bids of 5,500 shares at Rwf 850. On KCB counter; there was an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf 180 and no outstanding offers.
