Some of the Christians receiving livestock from their respective churches
Some Christians from ADEPR and Methodist in Ruhango District have commended these churches for improving their lives through livestock donations.
Christians revealed this on July 2nd 2013 when the two churches donated livestock to the poor followers.
ADEPR and Methodist churches in partnership with Compassion International donated cows and goats to the poor members to enable them improve their standards of living.
Head of ADEPR churches in Southern Province, Pastor Jean Marie Vianney Karisa asserts that as servants of God, they have to shepherd the flock of God in good healthy.
During the event, the mayor of Ruhango district, Ruhango Francois Xavier Mbabazi, recommended the churches for helping the poor members of the churches.
Mbabazi pointed out that it’s a quick way of complementing the government in one of its programs to uplift the standards of living of the poor residents.
In addition to the cows and goats, the beneficiaries were given food stuffs such as millet flour, rice, cooking oil, beans and beddings like mattresses and blankets.
